Gay Men’s Conference 2025 Report
Gay Men’s Conference 2025 Report
In January 2025, we held our first Gay Men’s Conference.
The conference, in London, was attended by more than 130 gay men from across the UK and beyond. Participants represented a range of ages, backgrounds, perspectives, and diversity of thinking, while sharing the commonality of being gay men.
The day consisted mainly of discussions in small groups to answer questions, make suggestions, and find solutions. This report is a summary of the recurring themes from those discussions, with some specific ideas and also some broader approaches.
This report reflects the context in which HumanGayMale was operating in early 2025, at a time when gender identity ideology had been established as the most immediate and visible threat to the clarity, safeguarding, and sex-based foundations of gay men’s lives and community spaces. As a result, much of the discussion captured here focuses on responding to that specific challenge, or working in the context of that challenge.
